Drake University

Drake was the first project at DI that I was given the reins on the design effort. My creative director, Ashley Loch, was tremendously supportive and encouraging throughout. The ceiling element is the heart of the design and a center point to an almost entirely symmetrical layout. I chose to focus on Drake's strong blue color, accentuate with fresh white accents, and lean in to an industrial and straight-forward build to not feel out of place within the architecture. Drake was a terrific client to work with and their team was prompt in gatheriing the massive amount of content that was needed for the Hall of Honor.  I was humbled to learn about the generosity and dedication of Paul F. Morrison and honored to help Drake dedicate this space to him. Go Bulldogs!
